Kundalini Activation

What is Kundalini Activation?

Kundalini Activation is a direct energy transmission that aids to awaken your own force of transformation from within. Kundalini is the creative primitive force said to be resting at the base of the spine. Through various different 'self generated' practices such as yoga, qigong or breath work, we use our own will to direct the energy within our bodies via movement in order to direct this intelligent energy for a specific purpose. Kundalini Activation is the other side to this coin in that this is a practice of surrender, not of the will.

During a Kundalini Activation session the energy will be transmitted to you, and with its own intelligence will do what is needed for each individual. This results in a profound inner journey involving visions, bliss states, emotional release, clarity and insight and even spontaneous body movement. Kundalini unleashes transformation within and begins to break down energy blocks, allowing you to embody you greatest self and live from authenticity. Classes take place each month from my healing space in Hackney Central.

  • What happens during a session?
During a session, you lie down on a yoga mat and playlist is played. The facilitator touches or presses some of the chakra or meridian points on your body, initiating the energy transmission. Throughout the session spontaneous movements can and do arise along with insight, emotional release and even states of bliss and oneness. The session ends with a sharing circle to aid with integrating the experience.
  • Who should not attend a session?
this process is not recommended for people with epilepsy or for those prone to mania, delusion or psychosis. this process involves going beyond yourself and deeply processing.
  • I have no previous experience with energy, can I still attend?
YES! during a Kundalini Activation session it's best to show up with a beginner's mind and release expectations. If it's your first time doing any kind of energy work because you don't know what to expect this is the ideal state to receive in.
  • What can I expect after a session?
Kundalini Activation extends beyond the session, often leading to insight, emotional release, and the shedding of past narratives. This process can bring clarity and profound change. To support your awakening and integration, it's helpful to engage in practices like journaling, creative expression, and maintaining an open, curious mindset toward your experiences. Continuing your Kundalini Activation practice further nurtures this transformative path.
  • What happens during a session?
During an innerdance session, the facilitator uses gentle, intentional touch both on and off the body. Accompanied by a customised playlist, this helps to deepen your experience and support the release of tension and old patterns. The music plays a key role, setting the rhythm for emotional and energetic shifts, helping you enter a deeper state of awareness where you can access insights, visionary experiences, release blockages, and connect with your true self. Together, the facilitator’s touch and the music create a powerful environment for healing, clarity, and a deeper connection to yourself.
