innerdance

What is innerdance?

Founded in the Philippines, inner dance is not a physical dance but a dance that happens within. A transformative experience that bridges the gap between wakefulness and the dream state. Whilst lying on a yoga mat a curated soundscape is played designed to stimulate areas of the brain active during REM sleep cycles. The energy of innerdance accompanies this process facilitating an internal journey similar to lucid dreaming.

In this altered state of awareness, we become conscious observers of the stories, sensations, and memories that reside within us. By guiding the body into a deep parasympathetic state of rest while still maintaining just enough sympathetic energy for change and healing, we can face challenges and fears with a sense of ease, unlocking a path back to freedom and authenticity.

Whilst Ancient energy weaves its way deep into the heart of our very being some experiences include: insights, trancing, impulse to move, synesthesia, visions, past live experiences, collective healing experiences and much more. Spontaneous movements can and do arise during the process. An innerdance session is often described as plant medicine journey, without taking anything. The work is both a combination and blend of ancient healing energy and neuroscience. The session is accompanied with physical touch and distance work from the facilitator to deepen the energetic process occurring and to support each individual in the process that is unfolding.

The innerdance journey extends beyond the session, often leading to deep dreams, emotional release, and the shedding of past narratives. This process can bring clarity and profound change. To support your awakening and integration, it's helpful to engage in practices like journaling, creative expression, and maintaining an open, curious mindset toward your experiences. Continuing your innerdance practice further nurtures this transformative path.

  • What happens during a session?
During a session, you lie down on a yoga mat and playlist is played. The facilitator touches or presses some of the chakra or meridian points on your body, initiating the energy transmission. The session ends with a sharing circle to aid with integrating the experience.
  • Who should not attend a session?

The music plays a key role, setting the rhythm for emotional and energetic shifts, helping you enter a deeper state of awareness where you can access insights, visionary experiences, release blockages, and connect with your true self. Together, the facilitator’s touch and the music create a powerful environment for healing, clarity, and a deeper connection to yourself.
